As I learned from another Dana this weekend, these are the things you absolutely must consider when trying on wedding dresses. I'm not sure how quite to interpret the wisdom, but I'll go with it.
That's right: this past weekend the Widow, the lovely Miss Kim, and myself ventured out into the world of shantung, lace, organza, and fur. There was beading and crystals, obnoxious glittering flowers and belts, sashes, pearls, and white gloves.
I was surprsied by how ridiculously fun it was, being zipped and laced and packed into the dresses. And I couldn't have asked for two more wonderful companions. Even the Widow had fun--she who insists that all she will need at her wedding is an enormous cake and a tarp to eat it on.
Unfortunately for you, reader, I have yet to receive pictures from Kim's camera. And I can't post any picture of anything I might actually be considering because Poisson has requested a surprise. But I know I have been away from the blog too long, and the Widow had threatened drastic posting if I didn't start writing again. Maybe I should have let her do it...I can imagine to some extent what she would have come up with.
Anywho, enjoy this miscellaneous bride eye-candy, and know that there are indeed some dresses I have literally been dreaming about. I know! Ridiculous.
xo.
